Departs daily from the Lodge with salt water fishing opportunities around Orca Inlet and the eastern portion of Prince William Sound. A combination of trolling with downriggers, bottom fishing, and jigging makes this an exciting day on the water and provides the best opportunity to catch a wide variety of species. All 5 pacific salmon have been caught on these trips as well as halibut, and several rockfish and cod species. This a great way to catch ocean fresh salmon before they even hit the rivers! Combine great fishing with the scenic beauty of Prince William Sound and this adventure can simply not be beat. Trip includes fishing gear, lunch, experienced local guide, and fish processing.
Full Day Off Shore Gulf of Alaska
Long range salt water boat charter departing from the Lodge on scheduled dates during the week (Contact Us for trip dates). If you are seeking the unique experience of fishing the mighty Gulf of Alaska, this is the trip for you. Big water means big fish, and these adventures produce much bigger halibut and ling cod than their cousins in Prince William Sound. Catching a large halibut in shallow water reefs can be the ultimate rush to even the most seasoned angler, and we rarely see another fishing vessel in these remote areas we fish. 4 person minimum and 8 person maximum on these trips. Weather, wind, and swell in the unprotected Gulf makes this one of our more weather dependent adventures, so make sure to allow a few extra days in your itinerary if this trip is high on your priority list. Sometimes we have to wait for the weather to run these trips safely, but our guests are rarely disappointed on this outing. Trip includes fishing gear, experienced local guide, and lunch.
