Enjoy a drive across the Copper River Delta, on a road that was once the path of the Copper River Railway, to the spectacular Childs Glacier. The glacier provides some of the most active glacier calving in Alaska as the voluminous Copper River cuts away at the base of the glacier. In addition you will be in awe of the amazing view of the Historic Million Dollar Bridge.

Enjoy a day of guided hiking and rafting. The trip begins with a short hike along the glaciers terminus led by a naturalist. Views of the glacier are spectacular. Board your rafts and cross the iceberg filled lake to the river. Once you leave the lake get ready for the class II & III rapids. Then relax as your float across the Copper River Delta to the take out. A treat of Smoked Copper River Salomon and beverages await you there.

Points North Heli Adventures is the only heli-skiing operation utilizing the southeastern side of the Chugach Mountains. Over the past decade, the Chugach Range has proven to be the premier destination worldwide for helicopter skiing and boarding. Accessed by ferry or plane, Cordova is unlike any other community in the state. Alaska Airlines flies into Cordova twice daily from Seattle and Anchorage. Upon arrival, a PNH team member will greet you and help with your luggage. A short, fifteen-minute drive to our facility offers many opportunities to see bald eagles, moose and the beautiful town of Cordova. Along the way you will also view the breath taking Chugach Mountains that you will soon be skiing or riding.
